The Music Teacher Association of Southwest Virginia is an association designed to connect the musical community together through communication and collaboration. We strive to help musicians, music teachers, students, performers, and musical groups grow in their craft and reach their musical goals.

Southwest Virginia is a rural community with a rich musical history and an incredible amount of musical talent. This association will help these people to learn more about their craft, meet other musicians and teachers they can collaborate with, build music ministries, and have opportunities to advance in music through access to lessons, competitions, and have access to grants and scholarships.

Our mission is to provide a fun and engaging platform for musicians to come together and do what they love... Making Music!
